I’m still trying to take it all in and knowing how difficult it will be, I just want to say thank you for everything you have done for the club and for those you have been with these years and specifically myself. You came as a child and you are leaving as the best player of all time, having made this club grow to the size it deserves and making individual and team history. I will always be able to say that I played and shared moments with you, most of them very good and I had the chance to grow and enjoy football at your side for 13 seasons.
Aside from all that, I also have the person and our friendship, I will miss you a lot. I can only wish you and your family the best because you deserve it. We will miss you very much.

Nothing will be the same any more. Neither the Camp Nou, nor Barcelona, nor ourselves. After 20 years at the club, you will no longer be wearing the Barça shirt. The truth sometimes hurts.
We met in 2000, we were 13 years old with our careers before us. What a career! Wow! We couldn’t have designed it better. Bloody crazy!
In my first season, after coming back to FC Barcelona, we won the treble and you became the best player of all time. From Rosario to touch the heavens in Rome. That’s where the legend started. What followed was history. What fun we had.

When I was small my dream was to play in the Barça first team. But to do so beside the best footballer of all time is something I never imagined.

What a privilege to have spent these 9 seasons together. Such nice experiences together and we have overcome such difficult situations. I was lucky enough to be there to see your first goal against Albacete at Camp Nou in 2005 and I never imagined we would come to have such an understanding with just a single glance. We have had such fun on the pitch with your running passes and my passes back that have come off so well for us.
