FC Barcelona will know who their opponent for the Copa del Rey round of 32 tie will be on Friday from 12pm CET. Luis Enrique's men are the defending champions having beaten Sevilla in the final last year, with goals from Neymar Jr and Jordi Alba sealing the win in extra time. The fixtures will take place on the 30 November away and on the 21 December at the Camp Nou.
Six teams are looking forward to a visit from the Catalan giants: Guijuelo, Hércules, Toledo, Cultural Leonesa and Racing Santander from Division 2B and the surprising Formentera from the third division. Barça have played against some of these teams: for instance, the Catalans have beaten Hércules in all four games against them; Cultural Leonesa were beaten 7-0 over two legs in the only meeting between the two in 2009/10; and against Racing Santander you have to go back to the 1949/50 season for the Cantabrian side's last victory.
Of the other potential opposition there have been no official games played against them. It would be the first time Guijuelo, who beat Cirbonera in extra time 2-1; Toledo, who beat Caudal 4-1; and Formentera, who have progressed through the last three rounds thanks to penalty shootouts, met FC Barcelona in a competitive fixture.
