Barça Lassa were unable to end the group stage with a win despite working hard throughout the game. Chances missed in front of goal were punished by a goal from Eder Lima five minutes from time.
Artur and Ferrao kept their opponents on the back foot in a busy first half for the visitors, whilst Juanjo in the Barça goal kept the Brazilians at bay with ease. After the break, the Blaugrana continued to threaten with Roger, Adolfo and Ferrao all going close.
With five minutes to play, Magnus Futsal went ahead through Eder Lima, meaning Barça then saw out the game with a goalkeeper-player helping, unsuccessfully, to find a goal which would’ve drawn the match. Barça Lassa therefore finish second in the group and will face the winner of the Carlos Barbosa-Chonburi game in the semifinals.
