Full biography:
Francesco Coco arrived at Barça in the 2001-2002 season. That team, managed by Carles Rexach, needed to reinforce its defensive left wing and chose a 24 year old defender from Italian calcio. Coco came on loan from Milan, the side where he began his sporting career. He donned the Barça shirt in 33 games and scored one goal in week 8 of the championship versus Valencia, a game that ended one each. Coco and Sergi Barjuan alternated at left back for the season. At the end of the season, the Italian defender signed for Inter Milan where he played for three seasons. After a short spell at Livorno he ended up retiring at Torino in 2007.
