The goals scored in the cup final make the threesome the highest scoring of all time

No attacking threesome has ever scored as many goals in a season, either for Barça or any other team, The goals scored in Saturday’s Spanish Cup Final have beaten the previous record of 118 scored by Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo, Benzema and Higuain in the 2011/12 season.

More than Messi, Eto’o and Henry

The tally is considerably higher than the previous club record established by Messi, Eto’o and Henry in 2008/09, when 38 goals for Messi, 36 for Eto’o and 26 for Henry totalled exactly 100. The current frontline passed that figure in the Liga match at the Camp Nou against Getafe.

Well distributed

All thee FCB strikers have been finding the net with ease this season. Messi is once again the leader with 58 goals in all competitions, Neymar has doubled last season’s number with 38 and despite being suspended for the first two months of his debut season, Luis Suárez has scored 24. And there’s still the UCL final in Berlin to come!
