Marc-André Ter Stegen is one of the 26 players in the Germany squad for the World Cup in Qatar.
This is the fourth consecutive major tournament for the Barça keeper, although thus far he has yet to play games at any, with Manuel Neuer having been chosen ahead of him, although he was part of the team that won the 2017 Confederations Cup.
Given his spectacular season at club level, and the fact that Neuer has fitness issues, this could be his chance at last.
Ter Stegen made his debut for "Die Mannschaft" in 2012 in a 5-3 defeat to Switzerland, and has amassed a total of 30 international caps.
The four-time champions start in Group F, where they face Japan, Spain and finally Costa Rica.
